To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, CivicMakers presents an evening of thought-provoking insights about how voting and election technology has changed since 1965, and what the future holds.
The evening will begin with drinks, noshing and networking, as well as an “Election Tech Fair” showcasing organizations at the forefront of the voting and elections arena. Then the fun begins–civic tech movers and shakers will present “lightning talks” addressing topics in three areas: voter engagement, education & empowerment; election systems & administration; and the future of voting. We’ll wrap up the evening with more networking for like-minded election geeks to continue the conversation.
Here’s the schedule, feel free to drop by for an hour or the whole evening!
